Tutorial

Everything you need to go from a folder of photos to a finished, print-ready report.

On this page

1. Upload your photos

  1. Drag and drop

Drag image files straight from your computer onto the upload area in the left panel.

  2. Browse Files

Click "Browse Files" to pick photos from a file dialog instead.

  3. Paste from clipboard

Copied an image or taken a screenshot? Just press Ctrl+V (⌘V on Mac) anywhere on the page to drop it straight into your photo list.

2. Arrange and reorder

  1. Photos appear as cards

Each uploaded photo shows as a card in the left panel with its thumbnail, filename, Model/Part No., and Description.

  2. Drag to reorder

Use the grip handle on a card to drag it into a new position — the print preview updates to match instantly.

  3. Resize the panel

Drag the thin divider between the left panel and the preview to make it wider, revealing more columns of photos at once.

3. Choose a page layout

  1. Pick a grid per page

Each page has its own layout control showing small grid icons: 1×1, 1×2, 2×1, 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, or 8×8. Click one to change how many photos that page holds.

  2. Set a default

The "Default layout" control in the left panel decides what layout new pages start with as you add more photos.

4. Add captions and job details

  1. Type directly on the page

Click straight into the Job Name, Model/Part No., or Description text on any page and start typing — no need to go through the side panel.

  2. Header and footer

Set a Job Name, Header/Notes, and Footer in the left panel — they appear on every page automatically.

  3. Filenames and timestamps

Toggle filenames and the print timestamp on or off from Sheet Settings, independently for the working panel and the printed sheet.

5. Format any text

  1. Select text anywhere

Highlight text in the Job Name, Header, Footer, Model/Part No., or Description — on the page or in the side panel.

  2. Use the toolbar at the top

The Bold, Italic, Underline, size, and color controls in the top toolbar apply to whatever you've selected, wherever it lives.

6. Add notes and shapes

  1. Add Text tool

Click "Add Text" in the toolbar, then click anywhere on a page to drop a cursor and start typing a floating note.

  2. Draw annotations

Use the Line, Arrow, Rectangle, or Circle tools to mark up a photo — pick a color and stroke thickness first.

  3. Delete individually

Hover a note or shape to reveal its delete control, or use "Clear Notes" / "Clear Shapes" to remove all of one type at once.

7. Set up a cover page

  1. Turn it on

Check "Add a cover page" in the left panel.

  2. Pick a template

Choose Minimal, Corporate, or Side Panel from the mini preview icons.

  3. Choose your fields

Toggle Work Order, Client, Prepared By, and the automatic page/photo count on or off.

8. Font settings

Click the Aa icon in the toolbar to set the default font, size, weight, style, and color for six parts of your report — Job Name, Header, Footer, Filename, Model/Part No., and Description — all from one panel.

9. Sheet settings

The second toolbar row controls paper size (A4, A3, A5, Letter, Legal), orientation, image fit, filenames, timestamps, and border thickness/color — including whether borders print at all.

10. Save and reload your project

  1. Save Project

Downloads everything — photos, text, layouts, notes, shapes — as one file, so you can pick up exactly where you left off.

  2. Load Project

Reopen that file any time, on any computer, to restore your work.

11. Print or save as PDF

Click "Print / Save PDF." In the print dialog, choose "Save as PDF" as the destination to export a file, or send it straight to a printer. The working panel and toolbars are automatically hidden from the output.
